The annual “Electronic Information for Libraries” (EIFL) Assembly will be held at the National Library of Armenia

From September 30 to October 2, the National Library of Armenia will host the annual assembly of "Electronic Information for Libraries" (EIFL), with participants from the library sector of 48 countries and several academic publishers (Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, Brill, JSTOR, EBSCO, Sage, The Company of Biologists, etc.).

EIFL is an international non-profit organization operating in developing and transition economies in Africa, Asia and the Pacific, and Europe. The organization's mission is to ensure access to knowledge and information, as well as to support education, science, research, and sustainable community development. Representatives from library associations of EIFL partner countries, including Armenia's Digital Library Association, as well as representatives from various academic libraries, will participate in the conference.

As part of the conference, representatives from EBSCO Information Services will conduct a seminar for specialists from various Armenian libraries, presenting best practices for working with electronic resources.
