Liana Sayadyan, Head of the Printed Products Restoration Department of the National Library of Armenia, and Anush Ghazaryan, a restoration specialist of the department, participated in the 15th international seminar entitled “Images of Memory: Robust Technologies of Maintaining and Restoring Handwritten and Printed Heritage” launched at the Mesrop Mashtots Scientific Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts “Matenadaran” from April 28 to May 1, which hosted 36 participants from 16 countries around the world.

The professionals took part in master courses and heard comments from credible specialists about current issues in the field of cultural heritage restoration and preservation, and their practical solutions. The goal of the international seminar "Images of Memory" is to improve the professional credentials of museum, library, and manuscript collection keepers and restorers so that they can independently impart the knowledge and skills they have learned in the future, if necessary.
