Both individuals and literary works have a unique destiny. The books authored by Paruyr Sevak undoubtedly reflect the imprint of his challenging life experiences. During a speech commemorating Sevak's 100th anniversary, esteemed art and literary critic Yervand Ter-Khachatryan eloquently expressed this sentiment. Ter-Khachatryan cited 10 books that were published during the poet's lifetime and highlighted that each of them was subjected to rigorous censorship. He also spoke about his profound connection with Sevak, as described by the poet himself, and expressed his deep gratitude for the privilege of being Sevak's student.

The National Library of Armenia is celebrating the 100th anniversary of an Armenian poet with a book exhibition and educational lecture. The literary critic Sevak Ghazaryan, grandson of Paruyr Sevak, contributed rare publications to enrich Sevak's exhibition, some of which were donated to the National Library. The exhibition commemorating Sevak's 100th anniversary showcases books ranging from his first publication in 1948, 'The Immortals Command’, to the latest edition 'Paruyr Sevak: 100 Poems'.
