2025 marks the 75th anniversary of the birth of Felix Bakhchinyan, an Armenian writer, literary critic, translator, public figure, and friend and supporter of the National Library of Armenia.

Over two hundred books have been written and compiled by Felix Bakhchinyan. He authored novels, literary works, monographs, short stories, and biographies of public and state personalities. Bakhchinyan translated many Georgian, Russian, Ukrainian, and Lithuanian books. He established the Fridtjof Nansen Foundation in 1994, which has been extremely active in our nation, promoting the work of the renowned Norwegian humanist, polar explorer, scientist, diplomat, and advocate for the rights of the Armenian people.
